My tradition of the last stand dates back to 2000 when a school teacher named Paul took me to Billys for a drink.
He had been raving about this new bar but he gave hopless directions. One night he said do you want to come to Billys and I said sure. [Billys moved premises to Jalan Sahadewa in 2000].
On his last night I said c'mon will shout you a drink at your favourite watering hole and we wandered around. 6 Tequila shots and 2 Long Island Teas later I rolled him out of Billys and back to Loji Gardens where we were both staying. Since then the last stand has always been at Billys....the rest is history :-)
As to the shop and the clothes. I am hoping the 'Sarong dress' will be made and available in the next couple of weeks. I am told that business has been shocking and that Jalan Sahadewa is very dead. Even sent some cash over so some of the 'dresses' can be made.
Am sure Jodie and the girls will like them. The black crepe ones I had copied look great, very stylish and could be worn in the evening. I left my original over there for the shop to have copied so they can sell [not my original]. cheers :-)
