Hi lhb,unfortunately Jimbaran is one of those places where it is hard to judge what is a good price! Many years ago I had an evening meal there with a girl mate and we paid $50 AUD each and thought bit expensive but yes it was seafood so expect to pay top dollar - however many years later and many more trips under the belt I go to a place called Ramayana which is at the back of Keraton Bali and usually pay about $12 per head. Last time we went was in Feb 05, three girls plus our driver for lunch. We had 1 kilo of king prawns, 2 red snapper, squid and all the trimmings which were little potatoes, kang kung vegetable, salad,rice, sambal and fruit plus a few Bintangs, Aqua and soft drink (not a boozy lunch!). We could not eat it all, eyes bigger than our bellies!!We have also taken 10 Balinese friends there for evening and paid about $100 so same.I can not remember what 1 kilo of prawns cost but know we thought much much cheaper than Australia!! Anyway what ever we pay in Bali is OK as long as we have a good time and we alwalys do that!!!! Cheers
