I am not sure what is really close.
The Ibis is on Therry, which is up the other end of Victoria Parade near Elizabeth St, catch a tram along to Smith St..
The British Crown Hotel is on the Victoria Pde end of Smith street.
We have booked Saville on Russell.
The Carlton Rydges wouldnt be too far, or any of the Hotels on Spring St, or Hilton on the Park.
