This hotel, known as the Grand Kumala, is frequented primarily by business travellers working in Bali. It's clean, quiet, very few tourists or children most of the time. Rooms are quite nice with refrigerators and satellite television. There is a decent restaurant on the grounds, open from 7am until well into the evening. Also two swimming pools, a lobby bar and lounge. The staff are very friendly and helpful (be sure to say hello to Wayan and Nyoman behind the bar).
I recommend the rooms in the far rear of the property, next to the restaurant. Be sure to ask for the rooms farthest from the stairwell end and you won't have other guests crossing your lanai (porch) on their way to and fro...this is especially true if you are on the second or third floors.
Room prices in December and for the past few years have been roughly $35USD/night for "superior" rooms. Cheaper rooms are also available, but I'm not sure what amenities the cheaper rooms lack.
Location-wise, if you don't require beachfront...this hotel is very convenient as it sits on Jl. Padma between Double Six & Rum Jungle roads with very convenient access to the Double Six beach just a short walk away.
