I have stayed in both bungalow and hotel rooms and has always been same price for either. If you have your airline flights why don't you book your accom with Besakih direct - I did, just emailed them and got a price (we too are going in September and have booked direct), was easy - book and pay when you get there, that is what they told me cost was quoted as $70AUD per room/bungalow per night twin share including breakfast and all taxes which is $35 per person - not bad when the Qantas Holiday book is quoting about $48 or $49 per person!!!!
