I have a citibank gold card, which offers free travel insurance if all travel costs paid with the card. I made a claim last year for unauthorised ATM withdrawals and was paid for my loss in full, no excess!
There is a rewards points programme on this card, and can be used for flights, hotels and numerous other things.
When I made my claim, I found the insurance company (Zurich) very helpful and the claim was processed very quickly, and paid straight into my bank a/c so no waiting for a cheque to clear.
