Hi and thanks to the Forumites who have responded to my previous questions about the Lokha Hotel in Legion. All the info provided was very interesting and useful.
Only a few more short weeks till my friend and I hit Bali on 18 May (leaving Perth on Garuda that day). The both of us are fairly stressed from work, etc and are looking forward to the chance to totally unwind for the 7 days of our holiday. We're intending to keep our holiday activities simple - lazing around the hotel pool with book/beer/cocktail in hand, hopefully meeting nice people along the way and sampling some the great restaurants other Forumites have said are in the vicinity of the hotel. We will also probably select a day tour for a bit of variety.
We both have been to Bali previously - my friend Roger on numerous occasions, but I have been only once before in 1995. As we're gay we will probably check out if there is a local gay "scene" - didn't notice any when I was last there in 1995. Perhaps any Forumites with knowledge in this area might like to comment.
If any of you Forumites are staying at the Lokha Hotel 18 - 25 May look out for Boris and Roger (could we be the only gays in the "village"???)and please feel free to say Hi.
