we would have gone even if it had cost us the heavy surcharge we have paid on previous occasions. However the customer service person said to us "You're game to be going to Bali. I wouldn't go to Bali even if you paid me". Needless to say she had never been there. This is a destination that Eddie is happy to go to anytime, whereas if I say we are just going for short jaunt to Yarrawonga or somewhere else in OZ he is not keen. Mind you once we get there he enjoys himself. With Bali however he gets great satisfaction in anticipating the trip. We shall have fun and of course like we do, spend up and help the Balinese. We'll enjoy it for the rest of you.

HCF said they will insure people that aren't members but you don't get the 10% discount. Probably the same price as the normal QBE insurance. The policy we chose was the economy which is ok for Bali. So if you have got pre-existing illnesses I would give them a try it certainly worked for us.
