I stayed in the fan rooms which are a bit run down but the AC rooms have been renovated and are nice. Walk out the back gate to the beach.
Eat at Puri Tanah Lot across the road if you want cheap, good meals. They show movies of a night.
It's a budget place, staff are nice.
