You can buy every type of bead at Toko Central (Ahmad Dahlan). It is east along Jalan Kuta Raya from Bemo corner on the first bend before you get to KFC. It is on the KFC side of the road, so if you go by taxi get them to drop you at KFC. It is life threatening to cross Jalan Kuta Raya on foot. They sell by weight so it is easy to buy too much and go over your luggage allowance.
