actually I can't remember if it was standard or deluxe but looked to have been recently painted. and was the first room on the ground floor after leaving the reception area.
I find this to be a good value budget hotel. True the breakfast is basic but fine. I wouldn't expect a buffet or anything at their price. I'm sure if you wanted more it would just be a matter of ordering it and paying a little extra.
The staff are lovely and the pool area always very friendly and the little spa is good and usually has specials. I had a really nice manicure/pedicure and they used Revlon products. Can't remember the price but it was a special and much the same price as the beach.
Great dining of all standards in the area and shopping only a cab ride away.
Go and don't worry, it's fine.
