G'day you need to ask a few questions.
Is the freight costs "ALL INCLUSIVE" = shipping term "DDP", this is "Delivered Duty Paid".
You will need to ask if this cost is only all costs paid to the Australian Port. Here is a few points you need to ask of what is included / paid:
- Bali inland Freight
- Bali Origin charges (Terminal handling, documentation fee, security fee, etc.)
- Fumigation in Bali from a recognised AQIS (Aust Quaratine) provider
- Ocean Freight
- Australian Port Charges
- Australian Landing Charges (D/O fee, Security Fee, CMR Fee, Documentation Fee, etc)
It sounds as though it may include all teh charges up to the Australian wharf. IE: Only the Bali to Australian Freight.
Some of the charges you may get in Australia will be:
- AQIS Fee
- Customs Agent (Clearance Agent) fee
- Local Australian Charges
- and numerous other smaller fees etc.
Vertually you have to ask what does this cost cover and up to what point does this the cost cut off from.
Any way I may have rambled on, but I hope this was helpful.
Brad.
