A lady in the pool at the hotel received an SMS from someone in Australia saying about the bomb threat. However, the next day, we asked some of the locals about the warning & they knew about it as well.
Funny, we expected our parents to be on the blower as soon as they heard & sure enough, mum called the next day when one of her friends told her about the threat. Also funny how things got a bit exaggerated in the media...according to what mum said, they weren't allowing anyone out of Bali! We put that rumour down to a fellow lady at our hotel that was leaving that day & didn't want to go!! Ha ha.
