We stayed here a long time ago, so how accurate this info is could be questionable. BUT rooms were large, if somewhat spartan, hot water was only available at certain times, and it's right on the beach. Our room had a small fridge. There was a porch facing the ocean where you could sit. I seem to recall a wall or fence separating the hotel from the beach. Presumably this was to prevent public access at night. At that time, there were few restaurants nearby, but I believe that has changed. The beach at Lovina is quiet, not much surf, and not very wide. Lovina is, in general, lots quieter than Kuta. Pemuteran is quieter still, which is where we will be heading this June. Hope this helps.
