I stayed here 2 years ago & found it to be a very nice quiet budget hotel. I had an upstairs room (superior) with a ceiling fan. The room was lined with wood, with a thatched roof & the four poster bed had a huge canopy hanging over it. The room was fairly basic - no TV, minibar or inroom safe, but it was clean. There are also some villas on the property.
Years ago the hotel was surrounded by rice fields, but alot of building has taken place so now there is only a couple alongside the hotel between it and the next property. However, there is a lovely view at the back of the property across the rice fields to the mountains.
The food in their restaurant is cheap & quite good.
I found that the only real disadvantage for me was the lengthy walk into the main township. Not so bad walking to the town centre as mostly downhill, but coming back is much harder work & probably takes a good 20 minutes.
