Hi Briffa, Thatá great he wants you to go to his village.. It is deffinateley an experience you will never forget.. Village life is certainly an eye opener.. I will never forget the first time i went to his village I was so worried because none of his family speak english either, and he wanted me to go to a ceremony in the big temple..So i was extremeley nervous.. I now don't feel that way because i have been up there 4 times, and been to so many ceremony's now, and i know what to do. And i have been learning Indonesian for a year and can communicate a little bit with them now.. Ketut's sister inlaw has even made me my own set of ceremony clothes because I am a little on the bigger side than balinese and they used to squeeze me into some that they already had...Funny..Well I hope you enjoy your 3 months in Bali with your boyfriend.. goodluck..if you ever want to ask anything you can email me..
