Having a copule of beers after spending the arvo in the garden. I have been trying to decide if I want to go back to Bali or try somewhere else. Visited quite a few countries and have been going to Bali since 93. I have to say that I enjoy Bali over all, allthough, I do absolutely nothing except got for a walk and have a few bintangs here and there. I did the touristy thing on my first trip and again when a mate came with me, so the tourist side of me has long gone. I have to say I prefered Bali in the early to mid 90's when the place was plagued with hawkers and crowds everywhere. I also liked the little bars set up on the beach, it was great you didn't have to walk more than 500mtrs and you could sit at the bar and have a bintang, coke, icecream, water or whatever, brilliant. Although the beach bars are gone the hawkers are gone (nothing like they used to be)and for the momment the crowds (they beter come back) I will be going back in December. After arriving at the hotel it's out of the travel clothes and in to shorts, singlet and thongs then a nice cold bintang or two or three, who cares.
