Regarding the VOA. Since the introduction of the VOA when I have travelled to Bali regardless of how long my stay has been a week, a month or longer I have always paid for the 2 month visa which you have to organize back in Australia prior to departure.
This is the first time I have actually entered like most tourists do purchasing the VOA on arrival in Bali.
The queues were long and very slow.
The last 5 trips to Bali when I have travelled on the 2 month visa
the immigration queues which are on the right hand side [not the same area as where VOA is paid for] have had no more than about 5 people in them. The longest I have had to wait is 10 - 15 minutes.
Hope that makes it a bit clearer for you. In the future I will always get my visa before leaving Oz. cheers :-)
