Beautiful carved boxes in a stall in poppies lane1... It is full of wood and broze/ silver etc... I very elderly lady is always there.. year after year, trying in vain to keep the dust off with her chicken feather duster... I paid a bit over $10AU for one with 2 geckos carved into it... Nay not have been the best price but sounded too good for me.
They are so nicely carved that next time i want to buy 2 and take the lids off to hange them on the wall... the measure approx 45-50cmx20-25cm they also have pearl shell inlay and chinese coins recessed into the corners.
