My agent, Island Bound (who is also a wholesaler) rang me last week to tell me that Garuda had released a cheaper fare and that she was switching me to this fare but I would need to pay by June 7. I had paid a deposit and booked for 7 nights at Bali Ayu at a cost of $884 each flying Garuda, payable by the end of June. We are however staying 25 nights so I think this puts us out of the cheapest deals for up to 3 weeks. Not too sure about that maybe somebody else is the full bottle on it?
However, the new price is $819 each for 7 days including taxes etc. Well colour me happy! $130 dollars less in total to pay. Thats two days spending for us in Bali!
I like this agent. May be wrong but I think many agents would have left us on the higher fare and I would have been none the wiser.
