We have been on AA a few times now and can't fault the service at all. Flights have all been on time and very happy with them.
Quite strict on baggage allowance even departing from Australia, so once ended up leaving a donatin bag behind, as they wanted to charge us excess and the plane was about half full!
I won't be too pleased if they do change our flight to be non-direct, I have done this one before via Alice and Darwin and it is a long drag......
