I holidayed in Alaska in 1994, and was absolutely gobsmacked by the beauty of it all.
When we retire, my husband says we'll take a SKI holiday (Spend the Kids' Inheritance), so who knows, maybe I'll get to go back one day.
Whereabouts in Alaska are you located. We stayed, in Juneau, Anchorage and Fairbanks, and took a day trip into the Arctic Circle. Loved it all!
