Gill do you know it will be The Gulangan ceremony when we get there on May 3 & 4 - A friend told me of this last weekend and also said that EVERYTHING will be closed except hotels and restaurants attached to hotels. So after investigating and asking my good bali expert friends - this is not true however most of the stalls and markets will be closed and perhaps a few of the restaurants. I have been told by my Balinese friends that no one will be on the beach "Billy's Esky' etc during this period so it will be BYO for sunsets - he he !!
