Same thing happened to us in 1995, and it was our first trip to Bali. I do believe that Garuda must owe money to Air New Zealand who usually do the repairs on Garuda's aircraft, so that is why there are such long delays. They have to send to Jakarta for spares and machanics to repair them. I must say we have travelled with Garuda on 6 other occasions and they were find. Have a great holiday.
