always give a tip when you receive a service, the better the service the better the tip. Most people work for a very minimal wage there and tips are not just a bonus to them, they really need them for living expenses. I have heard that since things have been so quiet there that some restaurant/bar staff are working for tips alone, so your small tip could be the only money they have earned that day. My guess would be 10-20% as a rough idea, but as said below I tend to round it up - so if a bill was 80,000rp, I would leave 100,000rp. If the taxi fare was 16,000 I would give 20,000.
