as a restaurant owner on a tuorist island in the caribbean, i can tell you tip as you want the service to be and they will never forget you when you go back. as a buyer in bali for my shop, i can tell you, they are soo poor there and so helpful everwhere you go that a few extra Rps. to your waiter, shop girl ect. will mean alot more to them then it will to you in the end. i tip everyone in bali all the time. i do not tip big but i tip. i go 2 times a year for 1 month each time and i can tell you that everyone i have ever delt with there remembers my name, what i do, where i come from... thye never beg it from me but they sure do appricate it when i give. remember, what goes around comes back around! happy travels!!
