once many years ago and took us out for dinner to a chinese restaurant in the city. He ordered everything on the menu and was being very bossy with all the waiting staff. He insisted that we try all the food and that included all the strange delecacies. We had to turn our bowls up side down in the end.
We assumed that his behaviour was because he was considered important in Bali and thought he should be everywhere.
Anyway, when we went back to Bali the next time and stayed at the KBC, he wanted to upgrade us to the presidential suite but would not give our friends a better room so we ended up just staying in the normal rooms (still remember Julie calling out "270" when she delivered our satay by the pool at lunch time).
Sorry to hear that he passed. He was certainly a character!!!
