Hi! My fiance, mum, sister and I are headed to Bali at the end of june for a well-deserved holiday! YAY! My fiance and I were lucky enough to go in february with my parents-in-law last year and had a ball, but this time i would like to be a little more organised about some shopping aspects to save energy and time for drinking cocktails!

Last time, I wandered into a tailor opposite my hotel (Garden View Cottages in Legian) who promptly knocked up a suit for me that turned out beautifully considering I had given him a very rough pencil sketch to work from. It cost approx $120 Australian for a jacket, 2xtrouser and a matching skirt in a nice micro-fibre-ish fabric. Although the craftsmanship is gorgeous, the suit is a little more mature in style than I would usually wear, and I have since lost some weight so doesn't fit! I am hoping this time to get a wider range of stuff made for myself and some friends, and am hoping for some tips on tailors, fabric stores, and whether it's worth taking items from home to have copied? I am looking at suits for both male and females, and other items such as blouses, dresses, skirts etc, I have some patterns and some fabrics already.

Also, I am interested in perhaps bags and boots being made? any tips?

My fiance is a musician and he has previously purchased extremely cheap guitars, pedals, picks, strings etc in Bali, but is keen to buy some larger items (amps, drums etc) and possibly in bulk (for friend and bandmates) just wondering if there is anywhere in particular for bulk purchases of these items?

Also, we might need to look into unaccompanied baggage/postgae of large items back to Perth, WA.....

Any tips/hints/info would be greatly, HUGELY, appreciated gang!!! Thanks in advance!!!! keep smiling:)
