G'day all; ;-)

We had a lazy day yesterday after our Sanur shopping
frenzy the previous day.
Several swims in our pool,a quality massage at Putri
massage in Legian for 50,000 rupiah or about $7
Australian.
After lunch I picked up my custom made order consiting
of (1 Red silk covered dooner with matching
pillowcovers and 5 standard cusion covers and a pair
of adidas shoes for my son,a beach towel,a strap on
money pouch and an extra large cusion cover)all from
Risky's shop in Benisari lane and all for 900,000
rupiah or about $130 Aussie dollars roughly.
Dont you just love family price! (thanks greg and
Marion)
I think thats right but you can check it if you
want..6450 rupiah equals 1 dollar here at the moment.
After this a grabbed my Aussie mate and headed of to
Sammi and Suzie's bar for a few Bintangs and a chat
with a few of the usual Bali forum suspects plus a
couple of new ones who are staying with us at the Sri
Ratu which is great.
We thought we were the last ones left in our hotel so
it was good to find out that we are not alone anymore.
It is so bloody quiet here at the moment that it is
really sad for all the locals who are really
struggling.
Dinner at the Bali Aussie resturant in Melasti street
was good with a porter-house steak that was very
bloody "Bagus"(good) as they say here.
After dinner we rode the bike home and said farewell
to my Aussie mate and got three hours kip.
The alarm went off at about 11.15pm and that was the
signal for me to go and find that Thalia girl again as
I felt there was more re-aquanting required. ;-)
Sure enough there she was at the Sante Fe club in Seminyak just sitting and waiting for me..
How good is this I was thinking!
10 minutes later we jumped on my bike and headed for a
party night firstly in Paddies and then in the Bounty
Pub in Legian street.
Paddies was quiet but with excellent tunes and pretty cool compared with the Bounty so we danced a fair bit there!
The Bounty was quite busy last night with mostly Aussies and
also many local girls on the prowl.
I was with Thalia and even I got approached by one
local girl who said "maybe you take me tomorrow yes"
with a big smile.
Needless to say that after much dancing, drinking etc
the night went off with a bang once more.
Ohh and the morning went off with one too...bonus ;-)
Damn I am loving Bali!
Stay tuned for more Bali as it happens
Brian
