Whilst waiting in line at the check-in counter, a porter came up to us to plead for an exchange of bills for some coins he had... apparently some tourists tip them in their own currency (IN COINS) and they can't change them in Bali... so we gave him Malaysian Ringgit notes and he gave us 50 cent coins in return... he seemed rather relieved! Don't think other people were willing to part with their notes perhaps wondering if they were fake coins! hahaha
Have used the coins already back home and they seem OK... No problems so far!
