We all know the Puri Raja is closed for renovation, but please don't forget about the shops & the drivers who are opposite. I was there last week & they are doing it tough. They are some of the nicest people in Bali. All the drivers along there are great & not pushy at all, they will take you where you want & not to their friends/family shops.
