I am booked on Cathay Pacific to visit Bali in late Sept-early Oct. The airfare from San Francisco-Hong Kong-Bali is around $811 USD. I have tentatively booked rooms at Bali Mystique in Seminyak for 3 nights and Tengal Sari in Ubud for 4 nights. Both establishments have requested advance payment. So, I have tried to fax them my credit card information. After serveral attempts, I was unsuccessful. Bali Mystique fax #(011-62-361-730-465) admits that they are having problems with their fax machine. Tegal Sari fax#(011-62-361-970-701), maintain that their fax machine is working. Both estblishments suggest that I email them my credit card information. For obvious security reasons, I am unwilling to email credit card details. Does anyone else have problems faxing to Bali from the US? I suppose, I can mail them the information. But, I not sure how long it will take to mail a letter from California to Bali.
What is the postal code for Seminyak? And are there any better ideas on how to book these accomodations?
