If you have net banking, yes you can pay bills and transfer money.
See your financial institution to set it up.
I also check my balance and transfer money across to cash passport.
It was handy having net banking. Last trip to Bali I went to 4 different ATM's and couldn't get any money out nor a balance printout. I checked my balance at a cafe so knew I had money there! However, the 4 ATM's didn't.
