Stayed there last year and wouldn't stay there again. Found it terrible, and we weren't in the cheapest rooms, we were 2 grades above that. It was classified as a 4 1/2 star hotel, but no way. The restaurant was great but the grounds were unkempt, the pool area and lounges needed a lot doing to it. The beach wasn't raked like they do at the Sanur Beach and Puri Santrian. We are going back to the Sanur Beach Hotel which is next door. Much better, we are getting a 2 for 1 deal. We love to eat at Donald's and the Cat and Fiddle so these are close. It isn't a nice walk from the shopping centre to the Mercure. Were thinking of staying at Puri Santrian but because they wouldn't guarantee ground floor room we decided to go to Sanur Beach as they have a lift. Have a back that plays up and sometimes find the stairs too much.
