This used to be called the Park Royal when we stayed there in 1998. We liked it very much, but found that it was just a little bit too far down the beach to be user-friendly, unless you're young and fit and don't mind walking a distance to get dinner each night. I realise that 1998 was quite a while ago, and things change quickly in Bali, but you might do a search for "Park Royal" and see what comes up. It also had another name between Park Royal and Mercure, but I don't remember what it was. I'm sure another Forumite will provide that information. Then search that as well, and make an informed decision.
PS: We now stay at the Griya Santrian, which is officially a 3 star, but compares extremely favourably to the Mercure (in my very subjective opinion). The Griya is much more centrally located, and you only need to walk out of the gates to find plenty of shops and restaurants to keep yourself amused.
