What Jet star will offer is 2 classes, one being Silver Star i think that will be the all in price drinks, food,and front seating. the rest of the plane will operate like normal Jet star, Families on first, then your colour ticket grade. This was in the paper last Sunday i think, yes Qantas will operate until all planes are refitted painted etc. which will be about late July Aug they hope.
Makes sense to offer super cheap byo flights as it is only 6 hours from Syndey and on return you are asleep anyway.
