never been charged by garuda or qantas in 7 flights. hopefully your board is in a padded board bag if not find some bubble wrap, also if its a big board 8ft+ tape some cardboard/foam strips on the rails as the handlers sometimes like to drop/stand them on the rails. if you have FCS fins make sure you remove them and put in your main luggage with the key taped to them. if you have fixed fins put a block of foam between them.i allways take a roll of gaffa tape (dings and to shut the missus up)--spare new leg rope--new block tropical wax--spare rashie--reef boots.if you need a new board bag there are a few places that make them,good quality and v/cheep...jon
