Hey all
Had a great little tour yesterday with my driver Dewa and my Aussie mate up to Mengwi temple then ,Begugal lake temple the monkey forest in Tabernan and finally Tanah Lot for the sunset.
350,000 for the day but since it was 10am till about 8pm it was pretty reasonable I thought and Dewa is such a likable young bloke always laughing and joking the whole day.
Fantastic trip really but a little tiring after only 1.5 hours sleep the night before.
I had been to most of these places before but my mate is having his first trip to Bali and loved it,despite getting bitten by a monkey.
The 60.000 buffet lunch in Bedugal was pretty decent too with pleanty of choices for different types of food.
The Tabanan Monkey village/Temple is one I had never even heard of in my previous 11 visits here but was well worth a look as they are generally very tame copared with the monkeys in Uluwatu and Ubud.
My mate actually tried to pat one that was on his shoulder which is what caused his little knick on one finger, but if you just pass them peanuts one at a time they eat from your hands and you have no problem.
Sunset at Tanah Lot wasn't as good yesterday because there were too many clouds around but I found the Bintang to be (dingin,dingin) or very cold and very refreshing. ;-)
Last night I got home to the Sri Ratu and my missing bag was in the reception area waiting for me ..Whoo-hoo clean cloths again.
I was so rapped to have my bag in Bali finally.
See we said "seeya" to Dewa and ,shower,change and off to dinner in A Padma Utara resurant and then we just went home to crash. I slept for about 7 hours straight and decided it was even too late for me to go out ..Dammit.
Oh well;
I Will make up for that tonight though 4 sure.
O.k then off to Riskys shop in Benisari lane to drop off a remote for Greg and Marion.
Then later massages,swim,Sammi and Suzies and Jimbaran..Damn I love Bali.
