last year. She is very well travelled and very picky but she reckoned this was the best hotel she ever stayed in anywhere!!! She also loved all the high end dining in the area. Of course she is 80, but in her own way sort of cool. I'm betting there wasn't a big party scene at the hotel!!!!!! but there again there's plenty of that right on your doorstep.
We ate at the new "Benny's" just near by in March and enjoyed it very much. Also at the Legian Rd. end of that street is "Warung Mimpi" if you are into Indonesian food. Really good food. We chose from the display but you can order from a menu if you prefer.
Opposite the Bush Telegraph pub is a good Deeveedee (hope that passes the censor) shop usual deal but very good success rate. We only found one dud. Actually the young waiter at the Bush Telegraph is really good value for a chat about all things Bali too.
All in all a really good spot
