Even the most supportive of Bali among this group are reporting being in Bali and how hotels are closed, for sale, people walking away from leases, many restaurants closed and the locals doing it tuff.
Airlines have gone broke, flights reduced.. obviously some flights are busy because of these factors..reducing or minimising flights to a point that the reduced numbers are flying near capacity and economically .. doesn't mean Bali is popular with Australian tourist based on the near capacity of some flights
And your claim news reports on the downturn are exaggerated.. and you choice of words to describe these reports leave a lot to be desired...
The downturn is contribute to various factors including the two terrorist attacks and the continuing travel alert,.. obviously the fact that Indonesia is upset with the West Papuan so called refugees, has again fuelled more hate among the radicals against Australia, which would obviously make potential tourist to Bali have second thoughts and add to the worry, about the safety of a holiday in Bali...
