I saw an American gentleman and his two young sons in Starbucks in Kuta ordering a drink each and a "snack" for each child and the price came to about the same as my wife and I usually spend on a meal for both of us including Bintangs! I must admit that we were in there getting an iced coffee each - very expensive by local standards but it was nice....
