Firt time I drank it I thought that it was fake. Some sort of bran/wheat concoction. A thick sediment/mud with the taste of puffed wheat left in the bottom of the cup. Certinaly didn't tase like anything that I was used to.
We ended bringing back a couple of kilograms with us. I've been drinking it regularily and have gotten used to it. I can only compare it to pulverised coffe, maybe a weaker taste turkish style. I place a heaped teaspoon of the stuff in my cup, pour on the water, stir and leave for 1 or two minutes, add sugar and milk.
