We went over last year, and my son has allergy to peanuts, needs always to carry his epipen, I rang the airline because I was worried about them seeing it as a weapon on the plane (big needle). We flew with Air paradise and they said I needed a letter from his doctor and I had to tell them about it when boarding, they just let me go through with it. had no troubles at the other end if they ask just produce the letter.
