If she cancels, you will have to pay extra for the room, because she gets refunded (minus the cancellation fees) the amount she has paid. The room therefore reverts to twin share rates, rather than triple share rates for the two who are still going.
If she doesn't cancel, and just doesn't turn up, she forfeits the entire amount of money she has been paid and it's as if she is still there as far as payment is concerned. She's paid her share of the triple share, and so have the other two - so there's no extra for anyone to pay.
Basically it just costs here $1200 to not go on holidays if she just fails to turn up on the day.
