we did this too about 4 years ago and purchased a stroller from Matahari for about $40.00. and used it for my son who was nearly 3 years old at the time. At the end of the trip we gave it to our tour guide who had a 1 year old girl at the time, he was very thankful, and he's still got it.
You could also buy cheaper ones than the one we bought. I'm sure that you could also get one from Centro without any problem, and Matahari always have them.
