In January 2005 we took our 15 yo son into the airport and checked him in. We could even go up the escalators to immigration but that was as far as we could go. Once they are past this point they are usually OK, just tell her to go and sit near her departure gate.
WE DID TAKE OUR TICKETS AND PASSPORTS TO THE AIRPORT AND JUST FLASHED THEM AS WE WENT THRU. They don't look at the dates so they will think that you are also travelling. You will do all the entry x-ray etc, and then when you leave the airport you just walk out thru the front door near the entry door. No one said anything to us.
