If it operates similar to Jetstarasia that operates out of Singapore, they DO allocate seats at check-in, and not free seating. They DO NOT allow you to take your own snacks and booze on board to drink and eat, you HAVE to buy from them on board, and they are VERY strict on excess baggage and carry on baggage weight and size.
