We will be leaving in May for our 8th visit this time without our kids, last year our daughter went with a friend and we had a week crossover, they had a ball with and without us.
We are staying in Kuta Sanur and then going to Yogyakarta for 4 days, to all those who have posted yes I have read the warnings and yes we have been pre and post both bombings with and without children. It is a personal choice, however I live in a regional area and I am more concerned for the safety of my daughter walking to her flat, and my son doing his second job as a doorman at a licensed premises than the thought of them travelling to Bali.
I guess it all comes down to your personal comfort zone and I feel that if I had to depart this earth anywhere for me it would be somewhere warm, comforting and where I felt at home.
I keep saying I am not on countdown but come the 14th April 6 weeks.
