The average person would spend only 10 minutes swimming and takes up about 1.5 square metres of space (ie. 6.7min/square metre)
A person on a floatie consumes about 2 square metres and will probably lay about in the pool for 30 minutes (ie. 60min/square metre)
What gives people the right to consume nearly 10 times as much pool by using a floatie? Leave the bloody things at home! (watch the crabs come out on this one - shall we talk about reserving pool lounges next?)
