Up early to sort through the op shop we had of many assorted things in our room.About 130 + kilos of it to be precise. Had picked out numerous gifts for our sponsored child plus things for the learning centre.
Made arrived on time and we headed off it was quite a nice drive as traffic wasnt too heavy and as Made has a DVD player in the car Hannah content to watch one of her new releases for a while .
All fine till just before we were near Bedugul when the temperature drops and the windy roads begin. Beautiful scenery along the way and a couple of spots thats great for photos with the monkeys. These spots are just on the side of the road where you can buy food to feed the monkeys and theres alot of assorted sizes.
Hannah at this time decided she couldnt bear the windy roads any more and luckily enough we managed to stop before the vomiting started ,think it must also be like an altitude sickness as i felt a bit the same. Lucky Made was driving and we had the spare plastic shopping bag on hand..
Decided a short stop was due just after Lake Bratan and pulled in to a market area to look for toilets. Made pointed to some and by chance justed happened to glance up at a sign further along that said " crackers bar and grill" and another "toilets" remembered from forum about how nice these toilets were supposed to be ,and in such a quiet area must say they were amazing . Spotlessly clean and modern. Apparently he was back in aust at the time.
Ended up having a drink from there and a pastry from the small bakery next door. Met the female pastry cook and had a big chat but cant remember her name but a very intelligent and extremely nice person. Will definately remember to stop in there next time.
Continued on and as not too much further to go the roads evened out and we felt better.
Arrived in Singaraja about 3 hrs later around 10 am to be met on a corner by Sukadarna whose wife is the Director of the learning centre and had generously agreed to both show us the learning centre and accompany us to the childs village. cont..
